We moved to Butterbox Farm in Stanthorpe. Our friends Trish and Greg have bought a small holding and have planted a small vineyard and keep some cows. Lovely place and cows all have names and are very friendly.

Went to the Queensland Wine college for lunch which was delicious, I had been there with Tafe on a field trip. They do wine making courses and the vineyards are managed by the University, tafe and year 12 students at the local school. What a great facility for kids in the region to learn winemaking.

Visited a few wineries, the Balancing Heart vineyard does great wood fired pizzas. It was so busy they even have their own bus to bring people in. We also went to Tobin vineyard and Ballandean. Needless to say I was the designated driver for the day.

Had a go at pruning vines next morning before we headed off.
