This is part of the Yuraygir National Park, it looks like heathland when you drive through. We were at the Red Cliffs campground with a 5 min walk to the beach. The mosquitoes are out in droves here. You only have to open the van door and they are biting you. Luckily for me they seem to prefer Simon so he gets about 5 biting him within seconds of opening the door.

The walk from the beach to the caravan is through some trees and this turned from a casual walk into a sprint as there are lots of mozzies waiting for you. Loads of kangaroos around holding up the traffic. They don’t seem to be at all bothered by us being there.

Simon did some drone footage so I had to be in the sea and then the drone was flying towards me then to the cliffs but when we got to look a the footage it turns out he pressed the wrong button and didn’t film a thing! It’s an ongoing learning curve. Next time. I hope!
