This was a very welcome break from the red dust. Fantastic to be able to get into the water. There was a beware crocodile signs but I had read that this is a pretty safe swimming spot they only have had crocodiles briefly as the young males pass through looking for new territory. There were plenty of people in the water and it was very clear so was not particularly worried. It is just off the Old Telegraph Track and the junction to the Southern Bypass. Well worth the stop. I could have spent all day there.
