Great little town, loads of arty shops. Annoyed that we missed their craft market which was on the day we arrived but we missed it as it was in the morning. Apparently they are on the 3rd Sat of every month. We stayed at the showground which is a lovely spot with an easy walk into town. The pony club were there when we arrived so we just sat watching them. Some great art deco buildings here.
A huge change in the weather the heavens opened, it rained all night and was still raining on Sunday when we went off to see Dangar Falls just outside Dorrigo. Usually you would have amazing views as you climb up to Dorrigo but all we saw was cloud. By the time we got to the falls the rain was easing off so at least we got to do the walk down to them. Really pretty spot. It’s a great swimming spot but today the kids that did go in swimming came out with leeches on their legs!
Fun Fact: This is where Adam Gilchrist was born (for those who have no idea he is a cricketer)
