This is a beautiful spot right on Myall Lake lovely clear water only waist deep for about 100m into the lake. Great swimming spot. We thought we had a lot of monitor lizards in other camp sites but this one has so many. We had around 5 just next to our caravan and they are nosy. They come right up to check out all your stuff. One went under the campchair and Simon’s Starlink router was on a little table next to it. Next thing I hear is a crash the goanna has caught himself in the cable, the router fell and frightened him, so he took off. All I saw was a goanna running off into the bush with a cable around his neck and the router flying behind him. Luckily the goanna had pulled it with such force that the plug had come out of the socket, so he managed to untangle himself and I managed to retrieve the router. It would have made a great video if I had time to get my camera.
